How RodaGo works, step by step
Whether you're landing in Bali next week or thinking about renting out your scooter, here's exactly how it works — no jargon, no surprises.
Renting a vehicle? Three simple steps.
No app to install. No account needed to browse.
Find a vehicle you like
Open the homepage and pick what you need — scooter, motorcycle, or car. Filter by area, price, brand, or dates. Real photos and clear specs on every listing.
Message the owner
Tap the green WhatsApp button and chat directly. Ask about availability, request delivery to your hotel, or negotiate weekly rates. Most owners reply within an hour.
Pick up and ride
Meet at the agreed time and place — many owners deliver for free. Inspect the vehicle, sign a short agreement, pay cash or transfer, and go.

Tips that actually work
Common questions
Is RodaGo really free for renters?
Yes. Browsing, searching, and contacting owners costs you nothing. You pay the owner directly for the rental — no booking fees, no service charges.
Do I need an account to see listings?
No. You can browse everything without signing up. You only need an account to save favourites or list your own vehicle.
How does the deposit work?
The deposit is between you and the owner — RodaGo doesn't hold any money. The listing shows exactly what the owner asks for: cash, a passport hold, or an ID card. If you're not comfortable with the terms, ask the owner or pick a different listing.
Is insurance included?
It depends on the listing. Look for the "Insurance included" label, or ask the owner before you book. We recommend insured rentals if you're new to riding in Bali.
Can I rent for just one day?
Many owners accept short rentals — just check the listing or ask. Weekly and monthly rentals are usually cheaper per day.
I don't speak Indonesian. Will the owner understand me?
Most owners on RodaGo speak basic English — Bali is a tourist hub. WhatsApp also has built-in translation if needed.
Now you know how it works.
Browse rentals or list your own vehicle — both completely free.
